Nadia Baksh, candidate in Châteauguay

Nadia Baksh entered politics for the first time to get involved in Quebec politics. Nadia is a loving mother and now that her children have grown up, she has decided to follow her goals in order to improve the living conditions of the population by making a commitment to the Green Party of Quebec.

She is the founder and CEO of Gayap Org. This young organization makes it possible to coordinate catering services, businesses, organizations and citizens to address problems of access to food.

Through her political commitment, Nadia wishes to further help Quebecers with their needs in order to find sustainable solutions to various issues. Proud supporter of small businesses and the ecotourism sector, Nadia wants to make public transit between Châteauguay, Kahnawake, Côte-St-Catherine and St-Constant easier, more accessible and more affordable.

Her other local goals, include creating more community gardens, expanding bike paths, investing in hemp initiatives, creating a culturally inclusive annual festival, expanding the local skatepark and library, investing in quality social housing, protecting First Nations language rights, and much more.

In her spare time, Nadia likes to take care of herself, art, music, cooking, writing and acknowledging history. For Nadia, each vote submitted on behalf of the Green Party of Quebec shows that the ideas resonate with the population, helping us to take place in the public debate. For all these reasons (and even more), Nadia Baksh would be honoured to be able to count on your support during the 2022 Québec general election.
