Pierrette Kamning Nguendjong is a financial analyst for the Société de transport de Laval. A convinced eco-socialist, she entered politics to demand major changes in the healthcare system, massive investments in education and to promote social cohesion and a Quebec open to the world.
Mother of 2 children and born in Cameroon, she immigrated to Quebec in 2010 to discover new horizons in the hope of a better life. She holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Paris 13 as well as a DESS from HEC in Accounting.
On the local level, Pierrette is proposing free public transportation to facilitate the shift to public transportation, improve service frequency and enhance the user experience. In the area of health care, Ms. Kamning wants to increase the number of family doctors, build a system of proximity where people can develop a relationship with their doctor focused on prevention, wellness and offering quality care while strongly opposing privatization so that everyone can have access. In the area of education, she wants to reduce tuition fees at all levels, increase the number of people who have the opportunity to pursue post-secondary education and counter the dropout rate with programs that capture the attention of young people and inspire them to go beyond their limits. For Pierrette, an educated population is a healthy population. Education is one of our greatest assets in Quebec, so she wants to cultivate it.
In her spare time, Pierrette loves to listen to documentaries, read, do sports activities with her children, travel, go on nature hikes, enjoy parks and walk along the Thousand Islands River.
For Pierrette Kamning Nguendjong, each vote cast on behalf of the Green Party of Quebec demonstrates that our ideas resonate with the public, help us to take our place in the public debate and contribute to the funding of the Green Party through the per-vote subsidy. For all these reasons (and more), Pierrette would be honoured to have your support in the 2022 Quebec general election.
