Kassandra Poulin is a teacher at CÉGEP de Sherbrooke in Office Technology, Web Development and Administration, who is concerned about the environment, social justice and women’s rights. She graduated from CÉGEP de Granby in Arts and Letters and has a BAC in Communication from the University of Sherbrooke, where she is currently working on a Master’s degree in the same field. The subject of her thesis is the impact of emerging technologies on women’s rights, the recovery of female sexuality and the destigmatization of sex work.

Born in Granby, she settled in Waterloo in the last few years. Kassandra is an involved, determined and hardworking woman. She has been involved in many volunteer organizations including a CHSLD, the SPA and Greenpeace among others, as well as advocating for zero waste policies. She has worked for several communications and public relations firms and has done professional theater. Vegan for 13 years, she brings a strong sensitivity for animal rights and the need to reduce our consumption of animal products to protect the environment.

Kassandra Poulin entered politics at the age of 24 to bring about important changes in Quebec’s relationship with the environment and social justice. She wants to bring a greater role for science in government decision making and increase the diversity of voices in politics. She chose the Green Party of Quebec for the party’s eco-socialist values, political platform that puts the environment at the heart of decisions, social justice and to build an inclusive Quebec.

In her spare time, Kassandra enjoys photography, drawing and painting as well as cross-country skiing, running, sailing and diving to discover the beauty of underwater ecosystems.

For Kassandra Poulin, every vote cast on behalf of the Green Party of Quebec demonstrates that the Green Party’s orientations resonate with the population, help us take our place in the public debate and contribute to the financing of the party through the public financing system for political parties in Quebec. For all these reasons (and more) she would be honoured to have your support in the 2022 Quebec general election.
