Jean-Pierre Duford is candidate in Saint-Henri-Saint-Anne for the 2022 elections. He ran for the Green Party of Quebec in the 2018 provincial election in the riding of Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne.
He wants to raise awareness of ecological issues in order to help make our society more eco-socially responsible. After completing his D.E.P. in horticulture at Louis-Riel, he became a gardener for the city of Montreal, working mainly in parks and at the Botanical Garden for several years. He is also a member of the community group ‘Sauvons la falaise!’ which advocates for the protection of the Falaise St-Jacques ecoterritory. His political involvement with the PVQ is motivated by his dream to contribute to making our country an egalitarian, open and fair country for all.
He is an active campaigner for social justice, minority rights and ecology. It is essential for him that electoral representation is fair. He listens to citizens, is frank, honest and seeks change for the well-being of the poorest and minorities and for a more equitable distribution of wealth in Quebec.
