Victoria entered politics at the age of 21 hoping to make a difference in her riding. Having always been interested in politics and being green, Victoria chose this year to become a candidate in the riding of Sherbrooke. The values of the Green Party of Quebec resonate with her deeply, especially with the climate crisis, it is necessary to act now before it is too late. This is why Victoria’s commitment, in addition to the Green Party’s avant-garde program, would allow Quebec to change the trend and drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
After completing her undergraduate degree at McGill in political science, and being involved in many McGill events, Victoria wants to do her part to help build a better future for Quebec and future generations.
On a local level, Victoria wants to see measures taken to address inflation and to help Quebecers cope with such a high cost of living. She also hopes that the Green Party of Quebec’s environmental platform will be applied to the letter.
In her spare time, Victoria is passionate about art and also likes to try her hand at interior design. For Victoria Karny, every vote cast on behalf of the Green Party of Quebec demonstrates that our ideas resonate with the public, help us gain a foothold in the public debate and contribute to the funding of the Green Party through the per-vote grant.
