Daniel Reiniger is entering politics for the first time with the Green Party of Quebec and wishes to put forward the environmental side of the party. Having worked for a long time in the pharmaceutical industry, but also in academia as a teacher. After working at the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, he returned to Canada, changed by his experience in the European Anglo-Saxon world. Daniel did a couple of classes with University of Cambridge for the medics dealing with Pharmacology

Still very interested in the Green Party’s policies, particularly in relation to social justice, Daniel hopes that climate change will be taken seriously by Quebec politicians.

Daniel wants to see a global change at the Quebec level. According to him, it is necessary that there be greater access to public transportation throughout Quebec, that it be more accessible, faster and free of charge in order to reduce the use of cars in the long term. This would also reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Daniel would also like to see a reform of the health system, so that it functions in a more efficient way, too many shortcomings were identified during the pandemic and it is necessary that today it is improved. Finally, as an English speaker, Daniel is obviously against law 96 and thinks that it should be abolished as soon as possible.

In his spare time, Daniel likes to write and has already published a book, he also likes to paint, write poems and fish.  For Daniel Reineiger, every vote cast on behalf of the Green Party of Quebec demonstrates that our ideas resonate with the public, help us to take our place in the public debate and contribute to the funding of the Green Party through the per-vote subsidy. For all these reasons (and more), Daniel Reiniger would be honoured to have your support in the 2022 Quebec general election. Every vote counts!
