At an event organized by the Bloc Québecois, Alex Tyrrell and Conservative MP Alupa Clark defended federalism from a left and right wing perspectives, respectively. They faced off against Viviane Martinova who is now with Quebec Solidaire and Simon-Pierre Savard-Tremblay of the Journal de Montreal who defended Québec independence.
