Once again, the Parti Québécois is invoking federal jurisdiction to avoid taking a concrete position against TransCanada’s Energy East pipeline.

This argument is completely absurd, because Quebec, like the other provinces, has full power to denounce this project within the Canadian federation.

The election of PKP as leader of the Parti Québécois should mark the end of the support of some environmentalists for this party of hypocrites, which is now led by a former Conservative.
