For a single-payer public dental care system for all Quebecers.
For too long we have been forced to pay far too much dental expenses. Families, seniors and workers are often forced not to seek necessary care for financial reasons.
Private insurance programs only increase the price of our services for the benefit of large corporations and financial firms.
A universal public system for all will allow us to reduce the cost of these services and end the private insurance system.
In Quebec, we have every opportunity to offer free dental services to all our citizens. The current situation deprives low-income individuals and families of essential services such as 2 cleanings and examinations per year. It is not fair or equitable that some of us are forced to lose our teeth for financial reasons. Together we can, and will, build a more just and equitable society where no one is left out. Let’s take action!
